Earlier this term, MHJC celebrated its’ annual Enviro Week. A week dedicated to promoting and enhancing our Kaitiakitanga. The week hosted multiple events which focused on having a fun and introduced students to sustainable actions. Activities our students and staff took part in included:
– wheels & walk to school
– shared literacy articles about positive environmental actions
– MHJC Adopt a Park (Silvana Park)
– Pest Free Howick Presentations

He Tohu Taio Enviro Cup Award:
This Cup was introduced in 2023 and is aimed at students and staff taking pride and care in their facilities. Students and staff did an incredible job taking care of our school and our judges found it hard to pick a winning Whānau. Congratulations to all Whānau who won the He Tohu Tai Enviro Cup this year!
