A message to our community about driving

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

During this busy period, as we approach the end of the school year, we’ve noticed a rise in unsafe traffic practices around the school, and are keen to ensure the safety of all our students and the wider community at drop-off and pick-up times.

To help ease congestion and promote safety, we kindly remind you of the following:

𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲: Please be mindful of other drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭: Please do not use the roundabout as a drop-off stop. It’s crucial to keep traffic flowing smoothly and avoid causing disruptions or safety risks.

𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬: Ensure you are stopping on roadsides with plenty of space – avoiding yellow lines, intersections, and driveways.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩-𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: With the improved weather, consider dropping your child off a short distance from school and allowing them to walk the rest of the way. This reduces congestion directly outside the school.

We appreciate your efforts to adhere to these guidelines, and to make the end of the year safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
