Our 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 teams had a very successful time in Melbourne. Here are a few pictures showcasing their time. More to come this week about the competition.
Our 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 teams have made it to Melbourne! They are there for 5 days with the International Competition beginning tomorrow and running through Saturday. We wish them all the best! Goodluck!
In Term 3, our Year 10 Business Studies students hosted their annual Market Day event. This day allows our Business Studies students to demonstrate their skills after weeks of building their knowledge with the NCEA Marketing Mix standard. Various products including a mixture of craft and food items were created by the students and showcased at the event.
Profits have now been calculated and ranged from $60 to $550. Well done to all students.
Today, a combined Kapa Haka group from MHJC and OSC called Ngā Pou Kahikatea attended Te Ahurea Tino Rangatiratanga Festival at Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae. These students performed incredibly well and did an outstanding job representing MHJC.

Congratulations to all teams who competed (and placed) in the Regional Final. Three of these teams then competed in Wellington this past weekend at the National Competition.
These three teams will now be attending the International Competition in Melbourne in October.
